Available for short-medium term HR Projects as listed below:

·         Short notice HR Manager/Director fill-in role. During recruitment of full time Manager/Director or lengthy absence.

·         HR staff support- In-country or remotely

·         HR Policy development and advice

·         HR advice on how to handle difficult staffing issues.

·         Learning and Development Projects

·         Development of Training initiatives/plans

·         Development of Orientation/onboarding initiatives

·         Support for letter writing for staff with English as a second language

·         Mentoring and Coaching of P&C staff

·         Being part of interview panels as an independent participant

·         Salary and benefit reviews. Setting salary bands using mid-point theory

·         Setting up Talent Pools and Talent Management

·         HR Strategy development

·         Supporting National Director’s on staffing issues

·         HR Budgeting

·         Available for GTRN/HEA assignments

·         Any other HR tasks that may be required


Extensive business, management and Human Resource experience. Nearly 14 years of World Vision HR/Admin experience in the Asia Pacific region: including Timor Leste, Myanmar, Laos, PNG, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Lebanon. Travelled extensively and had own business in Fiji from 1987-1999.

Worked for IFC/World bank in Vietnam setting up a Training Centre for the Garment Industry

Highlights of career:

Own export company 425 staff 1987-1999 Fiji “Exporter of the year-1997”

Senior Advisor for the Vietnamese Garment Industry (IFC/World Bank)

World Vision – Senior Leadership Team member in each country worked.

World Vision – P&C Director (14 years)


HR Project Specialist-Conditions

·         As an HR Specialist I would be willing to take up HR Manager/Directorship positions at short notice for periods from 1 month to 3 years.

·         I would be able to move to any location where the need existed.

·         My salary could be paid as an international staff member at a Hay Grade 17  or

·         Paid as an independent consultant based on a negotiated daily rate

·         Preference would be to work in the Asia/Pacific region but any location would be considered.

·         Medical Insurance to be covered by employer.
