Country's Goal:

Plan will enable the realization of rights of marginalized children, especially girls, in Laos through participation, partnerships, advocacy and high quality programming.

Programme Description

In each programme, Plan will ensure disaster preparedness enables a robust response. Plan will prioritize children’s protection, wellbeing and education, as well as immediate needs such as food, water and health care. As Plan did not undertake a significant disaster response in the first CSP period, there is currently minimal capacity to respond in the CO, and within the country programmes. This capacity will be developed during the second CSP period through Annual Disaster Preparedness Planning processes.
