Aquatic Resources Management to Improve Rural Livlihoods in the Xe Kong Basin

The Project goal is to cooperate with local government authorities on poverty eradication through a participatory approach to basin-wide aquatic resources management. Activities will seek to integrate both local knowledge and scientific information towards a long-term vision for the Xe Kong River Basin. Participatory management of freshwater resources will facilitate the development issues of rural communities into the basin development plans for the Xe Kong River Basin.
