Provision of Emergency Humanitarian Aid to the Victims of Typhoons and Other Hydro-Meteorological Disaters in Bolikhamsay and Khammouane provinces, Lao PDR

Overall objective - Improved humanitarian situation of people affected by typhoons and other hydro-meteorological disasters in Bolikhamxay and Khammouane provinces of Laos through multi-sectoral assistance

Specific objective - Improved access to food, basic health care service and safe water while ensuring early recovery from disaster in targeted communities in Bolikhamxay and Khammouane provinces of Laos through multi-sectoral assistance

HPA is responsible for implementation of Result 3 - Improved flood-affected families’ access to quality health care and safe water through mobile health team outreach and provision of basic WASH materials and education

- asist 3,500 households in with hygiene kits in 2 provinces (Bolikhamxay and Khammouane provinces)

-provide people in 155 target villages with hygiene and sanitation health education

-provide people in 155 villages with primary health care services through mobile health services.

-to restore essential medicines and very basic medical instrument in 12 health centers and 8 districts hospitals.
