INTRAC Courses in Vientiane

INTRAC are pleased to announce our first face to face trainings taking place in Lao PDR (Laos), Southeast Asia. Similar in style to our face to face trainings in Oxford, we expect participants to come from a range of different organisation; from large international NGOs to smaller grassroots organisations. We aim to bring together local knowledge, peer-to-peer learning and international perspective to the heart of Vientiane. These courses are delivered in English and are available on a non-residential basis only.

Advanced Monitoring and Evaluation: 1-4 November 2016, Vientiane Capital

Do you want advice on how to develop more effective and participatory M&E practice? Do you want some practical ideas to help address the M&E challenges that you are facing? This course provides those with some prior experience and practice of Monitoring and Evaluation with an opportunity to delve deeper into M&E tools and methodologies and its relation to programme theory and impact assessment.

Using Evidence, Evaluation and Research in Development Programmes: 7-9 November 2016, Vientiane Capital

In international development we are often good at producing evidence: monitoring, evaluations, impact assessments and so on. But how can we use evidence, evaluation and research to inform our own work and to influence others? This course explores what we mean by evidence, how we can work with evidence, and how we can use it to improve our work and influence others. You will learn how to identify sources of evidence, assess the quality of evidence, and integrate the use of evidence into your own work and organization.
