Access to this website www.directoryofngos.org (the "Directory Website") is provided to you, the User, subject to the following terms and conditions, which may be changed at any time at our sole discretion:

1. These Terms and Conditions govern general use of the Directory Website by non-members. Members of the Directory should refer to the Terms and Conditions provided to them by the INGO Network.

2. Use of certain areas of the Directory Website may be subject to additional guidelines or rules applicable to such areas, and those guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions.

3. PURPOSE: The Internet Directory of NGOs in the Lao PDR is a web portal of information on NGOs and other international organizations working in the field of development in Lao People's Democratic Republic (Laos), their projects and activities. It was initiated by two NGOs (CONSORTIUM and QUAKER SERVICE LAOS) and quickly gained support from the rest of the NGO community.

4. USE OF WEBSITE CONTENT: The Directory Website contains information, text, graphics, software algorithms, and other content (the "Website Content"). Most of the material found in the pages of the Directory Website is protected under the international copyright laws and such laws of specific countries. Unless otherwise indicated on a particular page, users are welcome to copy the Website Content for User's personal, non-commercial use, without any right to resell the Website Content. Some Website Content has been submitted by the Directory's Members and by third parties, and may be subject to more specific restrictions, as indicated on that content. See also article 9 below for terms and conditions of linking to the Directory Website.

5. TRADEMARKS AND LOGOS: Website Content does not include certain names, words, titles, phrases, logos, icons, graphics or designs in the pages of the Directory Website that are trade names, trademarks or service marks of the INGO Network and/or Directory members and partners, or of other entities which given permission to the INGO Network to use or display such marks. The display of trademarks, trade names or service marks on the Directory Website does not mean that Users may use those names or marks in a way that would infringe on the rights of the owner of the marks.
